一昨日の日曜日には、白鳥の田んぼに6時間くらい行って来ました。風がとても冷たかったです。
On Sunday of the day before yesterday, I went to a rice field of a swan for around 6 hours, and wind was very cold.

ロウバイ/Japanese allspice

この辺りではシーズン中に２，３回あるか、無いかの雪景色です。
We can see such a snow scene only a few times in the winter season around here.

雪は少なめでしたが気温が低かったので、太陽が昇るまで雪が木にくっついていてくれました。
The snow was a bit, but snow was close together to a tree till the sun rose, because temperature was low.

サザンカ/Sasanqua

国立歴史民族博物館の「くらしの植物苑」のサザンカです。
Sasanqua at a botanical garden of National Museum of Japanese History.

６時５５分、日が昇って来ました。
At 6:55, the sun rose.

ソデグロヅルのクローズアップ写真が撮れました。
I could take　the close-up pics of Sodeguroduru.

先週の土曜日、ソデグロヅルがいる白鳥の田んぼにはこんなに大勢の人が来ていました。
Last Saturday, a large number of people came to the rice field of a swan that there is Sodegurozuru.

予想飛行コースがずれたため、あまり綺麗に撮れませんでした。
Because an expectation flight course of Sodegurozuru slipped off, I couldn't take a picture well.

案外キョロキョロしながら飛んでいました。
Sodegurozuru was looking about restlessly during the flight unexpectedly.

あまりに上空を通過したので、逆光気味になりました。
Because the Sodeguroduru passed right above, the picture became against the light.

白鳥同士が近付くと喧嘩になりますが、ソデグロヅルが近付いても喧嘩をしません。
When swans approach, they quarrell, but even if Sodegurozuru approaches to a swan, they don't quarrel.

ソデグロヅルを撮りに野鳥愛好家が大阪、名古屋からも来ているようです。
To take a picture of Sodegurozuru (Siberian white crane), some bird watchers came here from Osaka or Nagoya.

氷が浮いた水がちょうど気持ちいいのか、居眠りをする白鳥がかなりいました。
The water that ice floated on seemed to be just good for swans, and many of swans dozed.

このところ連日氷が張ります。
The rice field is covered with ice everyday.

残念ながら雲のない水平線から昇る太陽は見ることが出来ませんでした。
Unfortunately I was not able to look at the sun which rose from the horizon without a cloud.

手前には雲がありませんが、遠くに薄い雲があるようです。
There is not a cloud in the near, but there seems to be a thin cloud in the distance.

今朝、九十九里の成東海岸へ日の出を撮りに行って来ましたが、水平線に雲が無く、良い日の出が期待出来ました。
I went to the Narutou beach of Kujukuri to take a picture of sunrise, but there was not a cloud above the horizon and was able to expect the good sunrise this morning.

今朝早く、ソデグロヅルの写真を撮りに行って来ましたが、6時40分頃飛び上がったので暗くてうまく撮れませんでした。
Early this morning I went to take a picture of Sodegurozuru (Siberian white crane), but it flew up at about 6:40 and it was dark, so I couldn't take a good picture.

初日の出は、雲があって見ることは出来ませんでした。
The first sunrise of a new year couldn't look by a cloud.

白鳥の田んぼは、穏やかな新年を迎えていると思いきや、「ソデグロヅル」という珍しい鶴が一羽来ているそうで、野鳥愛好家が大勢遠くから来ていました。
I thought the rice field of a swan to greet the calm New Year, but one unusual crane of "Sodegurozuru (Siberian white crane)" seemed to come, and a bird watcher came from far away in great numbers.
